       Best freelancing websites

Given below are the top freelancing marketplaces with their pros and cons for an easy comparison by the reader.
  1. Truelancer: This is a startup, established in the year 2014.

This is the fastest growing marketplace for the freelancers of this time. The client base is good which allows sufficient availability of projects for the freelancers. The best thing about Truelancer is that its fee is only 10% for the freelancers which is the lowest in the market. This is one of the best websites to begin with as here the competition for the freelancers is less ( as it's a new platform).
The drawback of this website is that it does not have few big projects to offer.

2.Upwork: This is the oldest and largest marketplace in the world.

Big projects are available here and one can find long term clients in this marketplace. Being the largest freelancing marketplace it has almost all kinds of works available.
Now, since upwork is the largest marketplace, it has a lot of great freelancers which makes the market very competitive. It charges as high as 20% to the freelancers. Also, signing up on upwork isn't a cakewalk as the platform is really choosy about the freelancers.

3. Fiverr: This is a service-based platform.

On fiverr one can offer services by making gigs.Fiverr is mainly gigs oriented, so if one is looking for good projects, this would not be a good choice. Also, selling gigs can sometimes be a tough task as there are a number of freelancers selling their gigs.

4. Freelancer: Established in 2009, this Australian freelancing marketplace is one the largest in the world.

It is easy for any freelancer to sign up here. It is also one of the largest marketplaces and getting projects is relatively easy here.
But here one is equally prone to encounter fraud clients as signing up here for the clients is also equally easy.

5. Peopleperhour: its a UK based freelance company.

It's a service based company. Jobs here can be really less time consuming, that is why they call their services hourlies, i.e. the project can be completed in an hour. It can be a great choice for part-time freelancing.
But if one is looking for full time freelancing and big projects, again this is not the right place.

This was a brief description of the top freelancing websites with their advantages and disadvantages.
